We have gone through the process of becoming a Mercury partner and have fully integrated with all of their development API's. This has allowed us to provide an easy way for our clients to accept online payments with all the security of an approved gateway like Mercury. We can provide Point Of Sale integration for gift cards, online purchases, refunds, voids, and adjustments.

On a recent project for The Paint Bar we successfully provided a brand new registration system for the client so users cane easily book classes online. Secondly, The Paint Bar wanted the ability to sell classes at a register in store along with physical gift cards as well. Mercury provided an excellent API for managing gift cards in store and online. The in store gift cards and online gift cards can easily be validated at the time of sale online. Lastly, we provided some back end functionality for employees to adjust sales, credit gift cards, refund sales, and void them altogether. All of this is through the Mercury API. It is very convenient for Gift Cards because Mercury manages all of the gift cards which makes it much easier and less costly for the client.

Integrating the Mercury API's was very easy using the Orchard CMS platform. Orchard is built on .NET and allows for module extensibility. This means we were able to write our own custom modules to speak to the Mercury gateways.
